Immobilisers
One of the most popular methods of car theft today is to either steal or clone your factory key fob allowing the thief to steal your pride and joy in seconds. The Meta AUTOBLOK immobiliser is automatically armed and disarmed via the presence of an ADR ID tag. When the ADR ID tag is out of range of the vehicle the immobiliser will automatically arm the immobiliser. This is especially effective against modern theft methods such as relay attacks, OBD attacks/CAN injections, and key cloning. To disarm the immobiliser the ID tag simply needs to come back into range of the vehicle. This process ensures simple and efficient immobilisation of your vehicle, requiring no input from the vehicle driver, resulting in increased driver convenience and effective theft protection. The Meta AUTOBLOK ADR immobiliser also includes an Emergency PIN Override function for manual disarming of the immobiliser in the event the ID tag is either lost or its battery is depleted. The emergency PIN override procedure requires the input of a unique 3-digit PIN – Included with the product.
Meta AUTOBLOK – Key Features
Automatic Engine Immobilisation
The Meta AUTOBLOK features automatic proximity-based immobilisation, which works via a Bluetooth-enabled ADR ID tag. When the ID tag is out of range of the vehicle (5-10m), the immobiliser will arm, meaning your vehicle is always immobilised when not in use. When the ID tag comes back into range, the immobiliser automatically disarms and allows the vehicle to be started.
ADR Technology
The Meta AUTOBLOK immobiliser uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to communicate with the ADR ID tag. The ADR ID Tag’s battery life is around 12 -18 months before it needs a replacement battery. The Meta AUTOBLOK come with two ADR ID tags.
Emergency PIN Override Function
A unique 3-digit PIN code is included with the Meta AUTOBLOK. If you lose the ADR ID tag or its battery becomes flat, you can input a unique 3-digit PIN code to manually disarm the immobiliser.
The LaserLine Guardian offers you a security system which prevents the vehicle from being driven away unless 1 of the ADR are in the vehicle. The immobiliser comes with two long range random code ADR (automatic driver recognition) unique tags with 3-volt lithium batteries. With built in motion detector tags which shut down after ten minutes of no movement to increase battery life. Then turns on automatically when the tag is moved again, stopping detection from any type of relay attack.
No customer interaction is required to arm or disarm the system. The kit will integrate and is compatible with any existing wireless or non-wireless vehicle ignition keys.
Flashing status LED that can be mounted on view or can be hidden in the vehicle if required, low 7mA current draw when the system is armed.
Secure touch key override that can be used if any of the uniquely coded individual tags are misplaced. Up to 28 ADR tags can be coded into each system.
